Exhibit Information
Paper Trail: The Poster Art of Casey Burns and Ron Liberti will feature approximately thirty original posters by Burns and Liberti from the Southern Folklife Collection (SFC)in the Manuscripts Department of Wilson Library.

Burns, now of Portland, Ore., and Liberti, of Carrboro, have for years used their art to promote musical performance in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area. Both recently gave their personal collections to the SFC and each helped to select favorite items for the exhibit.

Also on display will be items such as CD inserts, record sleeves, and handbills. The exhibit will cover approximately a twenty-year period, from the early 1990s to the present.

The SFC collects, preserves, and makes available the traditional and vernacular music, art, and culture of the American South.

Paper Trail will be on view in the Manuscripts Department on the fourth floor of Wilson Library March 17 through May 31. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m weekdays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Call 919-962-1345 for information.
