Aug. 5, 2009 - Celebrate the 110th birthday of distinguished Argentine writer, poet, professor, and librarian Jorge Luis Borges with the University Library and the UNC Department of Comparative Literature.
The program, to take place on Borges's 110th birthday, will include tributes to Borges, along with a concurrent reading of Borges's short story, "The Library of Babel," in ten languages, a short video clip of Borges reading, and a display of Borges-related materials from the Library.
