Join curators Libby Chenault and Jessica Martell for tours of the Rare Book Collection exhibition Joycean Generosity, Joycean Books, featuring the gifts of James R. and Mary M. Patton.
In addition to the essential publications of James Joyce, the exhibition includes the works of Ted Hughes, Seamus Heaney, Sylvia Plath, and James Dickey.
"We especially invite visitors to celebrate Bloomsday with us," she said, referring to June 16, the day in 1904 on which all the action of Joyce's Ulysses occurs. Bloomsday is annually observed to celebrate Joyce and re-enact Ulysses.
The exhibit Joycean Generosity, Joycean Books will be on view April 17 through June 30.
