Research Fund Deadline November 7

We invite faculty to submit requests to the Library’s Research Fund for the purchase of specialized library materials in any format that cost more than $500 and do not require on-going subscriptions. This fund enables the Library to purchase some of the expensive titles faculty need for their teaching and research. Because there rarely is enough money to purchase all requests, however, each must be accompanied by an application and brief justification. The Library Administrative Board’s Collections Committee carefully reviews and discusses these submissions before deciding how the available funds should best be spent. It also advises on priorities for filling unfunded requests, if additional funds become available later in the year. The deadline for submitting requests for the Research Fund is November 7, 2005.
