New Research by Subject Tabs Design
The Library is pleased to introduce a new "Research by Subject" or "tabs" interface that allows you to view article databases, electronic journals, and research guides in each subject.
How to use the tabs:
1) From the Libraries' homepage, click on the "Research by Subject" icon at the right-hand side to load
a page that displays a list of broad subject headings in bold on the left and a list of narrow subject headings in smaller font on the right (Figure
1).
2) From the first page, Research by Subject, click on one of the narrow subject headings on the right to load the "tabs" design (Figure 1).

2) Click on a broad subject heading in bold font on the left to load a page that displays narrower search terms for each broad discipline or subject
(Figure 2).
Then click on one of the narrow subjects on the right to load the "tabs" design.
3) Once the "tabs" page loads, the article databases, journals, and research guides for that subject are displayed in an interface designed to
resemble folders in a file cabinet (Figure 3). The subject heading you clicked on will be displayed above the tabs on the left-hand side of the
screen. You can click on each tab or folder to find out what resources we have for the subject you selected. The number of resources for the subject is
listed parenthetically to the right of the resource heading in the tab. To try another search, select a subject heading in the drop-down menu on the
right side of the screen above the tabs and click the "select" button.
