Nov. 27 - Continuing a winter tradition, the University Library will host an afternoon of seasonal storytelling and music for children of all ages on Thursday, Dec. 7.
The 14th annual "Winter Stories" event will start with a reception at 5 p.m. in the lobby of the Louis Round Wilson Library, followed by the program at 5:30 p.m. in the Pleasants Family Assembly Room. The event is free and open to the public.
This year's theme, "Through a Frosty Window," will feature storytelling by Brian Sturm, associate professor at UNC's School of Information and Library Science (SILS), and SILS master's students Elizabeth Matson and Megan Hendershot. University Library employees Kate Barnhart and Kris Walz and SILS master's student Laurie Neuerburg will provide music of the season.
"Winter Stories" is sponsored by Friends of the Library. For more information about the program, contact Liza Terll at 919-962-4207.
