- Demonstrate an understanding of the impact the Depression and the New Deal had on North Carolina.
- Utilize the UNC Library's Tobacco Bag Stringing Collection as a primary resource.
- Identify point of view and bias in historical documents, both text and pictorial.
- Provide historical support for a thesis through the use of creative writing.
