From Interstate 40 (coming from Raleigh and points east):
- Take exit 273-A (Hwy 54) toward Chapel Hill.
- Continue straight to the top of the hill. Hwy 54 will become South Road.
- Turn left onto Stadium Drive (immediately before the Bell Tower).
- Go to the end, turn right onto Ridge Road.
- Park at the Rams Head Parking Deck. Parking rates are $1.25 hour in all visitor
parking lots.
From Interstate 85 (coming from Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Greensboro):
- Take I-40 East toward Raleigh.
- Take Exit 273 and turn right at the end of the exit ramp.
- Continue straight to the top of the hill. Hwy 54 will become South Road.
- Turn left onto Stadium Drive (immediately before the Bell Tower).
- Go to the end, turn right onto Ridge Road.
- Park at the Rams Head Parking Deck. Parking rates are $1.25 hour in all visitor
parking lots.
From Interstate 85 North (coming from Durham and points north):
- Follow I-85 to the intersection with Hwy 15-501 South.
- Follow 15-501 South toward Chapel Hill; the highway will divide.
- Remain on 15-501 South (Bypass) bearing left, away from Franklin Street.
- Turn right onto Highway 54. Exit towards "UNC-Chapel Hill".
- Continue to the top of the hill. Hwy 54 will become South Road.
- Turn left onto Stadium Drive (immediately before the Bell Tower).
- Go to the end, turn right onto Ridge Road.
- Park at the Rams Head Parking Deck. Parking rates are $1.25 hour in all visitor
parking lots.
Metered spaces are also available along South Street.

From the Rams Head Parking Deck, walk back down Stadium Drive to South Road.
The Wilson Library is located directly across from the Bell Tower. To enter the building walk
around from the South Street side to the front entrance.
Prospective visitors to the Wilson Library should be aware of
enforced parking regulations on the University of North Carolina
campus. The UNC Department of
Public Safety (919-962-3951) provides up-to-date
information on parking.

Parking and Building Access
Disability access is from the side (east) entrance of the Wilson Library. Marked Disability
parking spaces are behind the library directly across from Stadium Drive, accessible from
the South Road entrance.
Once inside the building, elevator access is available past the stairwell in the elevator lobby on
the east side of the building. The elevator allows access to all main floors of the Wilson Library.
