An obscure zydeco artist, Thaddus Declouet recorded at least one session of five tunes for Goldband. Declouet wrote blues and zydeco songs in English, and excelled at the accordion. Eddie Shuler remembers Declouet's music well: "All the musicians wanted to play with him because he put his heart in each and every song. He was a quiet man and all his statements seemed to be in his music."
