Steve Weiss, Curator
Steve is Curator of the Southern Folklife Collection and oversees the development, preservation, access, and public programming for the collection. He is also Sound and Image Librarian for Wilson Special Collections Library. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Audio Technology from The American University and a Masters in Library and Information Studies from the University of Michigan.

Aaron Smithers, Library Assistant
Aaron is Library Assistant for the Southern Folklife Collection. He provides reference and oversees audiovisual duplication services. Aaron holds a Bachelors of Science in Communications and Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin.

John Loy, Audio Preservation Engineer
John is Audio Preservation Engineer in the John M. Rivers Studio. He is responsible for digitizing archival audio recordings for preservation and access. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Recording Production and Technology from Middle Tennessee State University.
